Continental, 19th century, comprising: tabletop vitrine, glass paneled sides and door opening to shelved interior, removable marble top, 14-3/4 x 9-1/2 x 6-1/2 in.; serpentine front three drawer chest, blue velvet lined interiors, gilt bronze scroll and foliate form pulls, 11-1/2 x 12-1/2 x 9 in.; document box in the form of a roll top desk and cabinet, upper case with hinged top and two glass paneled doors opening to divided interior, lower case with sliding shelf and cover, on paw feet, 16-1/2 x 10 x 9-1/2 in.

Condition

all with significant wear; vitrine with one glass paneled cracked, bronze mounts loose, top with some adhesive residue and wear from marble top, marble top with crack and repair; chest with most drawer pulls loose, scattered cracks throughout, some chips and repairs especially at drawer edges, large crack and separation at back, likely missing one bronze mount at bottom edge (two unused holes), wear and stains to interior linings; document box/cabinet with some warping (sliding shelf does not sit on track), sliding desk top/cover with most pieces broken off but retained, scattered surface scratches and small cracks,ΓΏ
Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
