British, 18th/19th century, comprising: three tea caddies, of varying form, one with inlaid mother of pearl inlay, largest 5 x 8 x 4-3/4 in.; mahogany bottle box with sloped hinged top, brass side handles and escutcheon, lined and fitted interior, with four glass bottles and cordial, 8-1/2 x 7-1/4 x 7 in., Provenance: The Estate of Robert and Joan Rash, Charlotte, North Carolina

Condition

scattered surface scratches, cracks, separations, some chips and losses to interiors, some warping to wood; fitted box off balance at feet, three floral embellishments on brass handles loose, three glass bottles with large chips to stoppers; one caddy with losses to veneers, warping to lid (does not completely close); one caddy lid loose at hinges
Purchased items will then be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
