Japanese, late 19th/early 20th century: mother-of-pearl inlaid and gold-lacquered brazier or hand warmer, fine floral decoration, center with deep inset pot with carved top rim, base signed, 8-1/2 x 14 in., separation at joint to one side, minor abrasions; black-lacquered wood and bamboo cylindrical storage box, brass mounts at top and legs, 16 x 13-7/8 in., minor losses to lacquer especially at top rim and around body; black-lacquered and gilt-decorated dome-top box for plate storage, top with Buddhist symbol and stylized clouds, butterflies and flowers, interior with three lacquered plates with fish decoration, 8 x 14 in., lacquer at cover and sides with minor cracking, old crack and repair to base, one plate with crack and repair; square Chinese hardwood low table with cut corner gallery, raised on under scroll legs, stretcher base, 12 x 17-3/4 x 17-3/4 in., extensive scratches, nicks and signs of wear and use .
