Ink Stands
18th and 19th century, one with stepped interior with two inkwells flanking a sand bin, platform with two small drawers at the side, serpentine form pen holders within the pierced gallery, ball-and-claw feet, repoussé and engraved decoration, 5 x 9-1/2 in. overall, good condition; two oval brass ink stands, probably English, early 19th century, one with two wells flanking a candle-form, oval gallery tray with splayed feet, with another of similar design with two candlesticks and a center well, splayed legs, each approximately 5-1/4 x 7-1/2 in., signs of wear and use, heart-shaped quill holder attached.
