RUSSELL GORDON, 30 AUGUST 1899", touch marks for Hawksworth, Sheffield, 33 in. to top of finial; silver-plate square column with bowknots at top and masks at base, stepped plinth, the collar impressed "HINKS & SON'S/PATENT", 32-1/2 in., [two masks are loose]; and brass Corinthian column with stepped base, one riser marked "BEST DUPLEX" with a "B" inside a "C", 32-1/4 to top of finial, [the second riser missing its mark button, a few dents in base].
