17th/18th century, the largest single reeded example by John Batchelor, Bristol with engraved monogram "GMN" and stamped "GMN" to the rim, with notes about maker taped to base; the other single reeded example by Thomas Lanyon, Bristol and Coventry and owner initials "AP" to the rim; the triple reeded example by John Cave, Bristol and stamped "IS" to the broad rim, two with painted wood stand, largest 20 in. diameter
