Flemish bronze mortar and pestle dated 1607, waisted form with spreading foot and dolphin-head handles, birds surrounded by scrolling [rinsceaux], "Hendrick Ter Horst Me Fecit Anno 1607", height 11-1/4 in., [some corrosion;] finely turned mahogany mortar with overhung lip and pedestal base, with pestle, height 17 in., [old split to base, signs of rot and cracking to one side;] ring-turned mortar and pestle, height 15 in., [some wear to base rim, old splits to pestle].
