THIS CANE /WAS CUT NEAR JEFFERSON TOMB/ MONTICELLO, VA/ JEFFERSONS DYING WORDS I RESIGN MY SPIRIT/ TO GOD MY/DAUGHTER TO MY COUNTRY", additionally decorated with birds, rabbits, fish, and other animals, with metal tip, 36-1/8 in. - Note: Thomas Jefferson Craddock was a resident of Milton VA and sold his canes at Jefferson's tomb at Monticello.
