Note from Lugt database: Alexis Hubert Rouart, brother of the collector Henri Rouart (1833-1912) renowned for his Corot and Degas, had himself gathered a large selection of lithographs in very beautiful proofs. All the great masters such as Charlet, Raffet, Vernet, Gericault, Delacroix, Boulanger, H. Monnier, Daumier, Deveria, Gavarni, Bonington, Grevedon, and Decamps, were represented there.
