attributed to Bedford County, 19th century, walnut secondary throughout, dovetailed box with hinged top, two interior dividers, on a frame with dovetailed drawer with original lock, turned legs, 34-3/4 x 24 x 18 in., top with minor strip patches (for shrinkage), hinges replaced, legs possibly reduced in height (no apparent cuts but unusual design), lock for box is replaced and catch is detached.
