and [Cha-ire] Tea Caddies by American/Japanese Potter Peter Hamann Japanese/American, suite of tea ware used by Peter Hamann for demonstration at the 2015 North Carolina Potter’s Conference in Asheboro, North Carolina, which highlighted Japanese ceramics, including stoneware jar with lacquer lid, 7 x 6 in.; brown stoneware caddy with brown silk carrying bag and storage box, 3-1/2 x 2-1/2 in.; porcelain tea caddy in light celadon glaze with incised decoration with wood box, 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 in.; five bamboo tea articles including two ladles, whisk, tea scoop and chop sticks, (eleven pieces). Condition: all in good condition. Notes: Lot includes a copy of Ceramics Monthly of November, 2015, with an article on Peter Hamann.
