American, first decade 20th century, shape 1455, melon-ribbed original flame stopper, unusually fine heavy dauber, early production piece, marked on bottom of bottle "AURENE/1455", 5-1/2 in. large chip on botom of plug, small abrasions on inside of rim, wear to base, otherwise very good condition.
