Virginia or North Carolina, early 19th century, walnut with poplar and yellow pine secondary, figured walnut paneled central door, dovetailed and cut nail construction, original surface, drawer locks, and two pulls, 36 x 59 x 17 in. rough as found but largely original condition, reduced in height and probably lacking backsplash, door frame with staple repairs, three drawers are lacking pulls and one has a replaced board in bottom, top rough with losses at front edge and three later holes, some warping and scattered minor pest damage, sun fading, other surface stains and wear throughout.
