probably South Carolina, 1790-1810, rare form, hinged lid, opens to removable dovetailed mahogany tray, over open interior, facade with three false drawer fronts, tapered legs, yellow pine bottom board, white pine (?) backboard, 34 x 31-1/2 x 18 in.

good overall condition, brasses replaced, bottom board of interior tray replaced, lock replaced, top with some water stains and abrasions, minor sun fading, old chip and loss at one rear foot

Sales Tax: If you live in North Carolina and/or pick up from the auction house, and do not have a valid resale tax number on file with us, you MUST pay North Carolina state sales tax. The NC Sales Tax will not apply to any items being shipped out of state (unless the client resides in North Carolina) or to those clients with a resale tax number.
