Slant-Front Desk on Frame
attributed to Virginia, late 18th century, slant lid opening to a fitted interior with four drawers and two document drawers over a long drawer, walnut and poplar secondary, set on a frame with scalloped skirts and square legs, 43-1/2 x 34-1/2 x 24 in., fallboard restored and with losses at top edge, patches at hinges, scattered repairs to drawer lips of long drawer, brass pull replaced, one rear leg of frame with cracks and repairs.
