late 19th/early twentieth century, shows laminations of contrasting metal (probably meteorite), decorative band between handle and blade set with different colored cabochons, wooden handle carving depicts fierce character, possibly Raska, elaborately carved sheath, 15-1/8 in. blade, 20 in. overall length, blade has some lightly pitted areas, forging flaws.
