possibly pre-Columbian, attributed to the Manabi culture of eastern Ecuador, possibly 1100-800 BC, with everted rim on a short neck with incised decoration, two areas of molded relief just below the rim, squat carinated body, concave base, with a lustrous burnished orange-brown surface with areas of black coloration, 4-1/4 in., Provenance: The I.
