American or Continental, 19th century: pair swirl-carved applied side columns, each 18-1/2 in., [loss to top ring turning of one;] white-painted pine scrolling capital cap, 7-1/4 x 20-1/2 x 7 in., [drying cracks, chips and losses to paint;] gray-painted scrolling capital support with acanthus leaf carving, 11-3/4 in., [chip to top rail, minor losses at sides, paint losses;] brown-stained scrolling capital support with winged angel face over a protruding acanthus leaf front, 10-1/4 x 11-1/2 x 4-1/2 in., [minor losses to one acanthus leaf, minor chips, wear and losses to surface, minor losses to scrolling leaves at sides;] pineapple chair finial over a block floral design, 8-3/4 in., [break at base and protruding pegs at rear].
