early 20th century: Japanese silver box with lacquered cover depicting figures in a pagoda landscape, stamped "Sempoh", patent number 150085 and marked "Silver 950", velvet lining, with original key, 1-3/4 x 4-1/2 x 3-3/8 in., [good condition;] malachite and gilt brass footed box, 1-3/4 x 6 x 3-7/8 in., [internal fractures to top;] three Japanese cloisonné boxes, two gilt metal, one with silver-plated interior, 1-7/8 x 3-1/16 x 3 in. to 1-7/8 x 5-1/2 x 4 in., [all in good condition;] cloisonné bulbous form covered koro, 4-1/4 in., [finial loose, minor losses to decoration on cover;] finely enameled composition fan depicting a European landscape, silk cord attached, probably Continental, 7-1/4 in., [minor paint loss, one stay cracked but available for restoration] .
