Japanese, late 1940s, vintage kites framed in [Negoro] lacquer-style frames and floating on acid-free mats; carp swimming up waterfall, printed and hand-colored, signed [Yama] or mountain and [kiku] or chrysanthemum, 19-1/2 x 15 in., [good condition]; dragon chasing pearl of wisdom, printed and hand-colored, same artist, 23 x 15 in., [minor 1/4 in. tears at three intersections of bamboo ribs and paper on edges]; wave breaking in front of rock and rising sun, printed and hand-colored, same artist, 20 x 15 in., [good condition]; demon mask, hand-painted, no signature, 20 x 13 in., [good condition]; [samurai] fighting tiger, printed and hand-colored, no signature, 23 x 15 in., [minor tears at three intersections of bamboo ribs and paper on edge]; [kanji] for [Ryu] or dragon, hand-painted, no signature, 20 x 12-3/4 in., [minor tears on several corners, minor loss left side].
