converted to percussion, .54 caliber, 8-5/8 in. round smoothbore barrel, brass blade front sight, "P" proof marks to left side of barrel, lock plate marked "U.S." over "S. NORTH", dated "1827" behind hammer, brass flash pan, iron backstrap, butt cap, trigger guard, and barrel band, swivel type steel ramrod, long steel belt hook at side plate, evidence of faint inspectors mark in oval next to side plate, 13-1/4 in. overall

Condition

patina, oxidation, and some pitting to metal components, evidence of handling wear to wooden stock, some scratches and dings, 1-1/4 in. hairline to right side of stock at barrel band, hairline in stock from trigger guard up to side plate up to barrel, another hairline from trigger guard up to lock plate, other hairlines to grip behind of trigger guard, rust in bore, trigger and action appear to function

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
