Scottish, 19th century, formed as a shield, jasper plaques on front and finial, extraordinary engraving on reverse, silver screw cap and chain, unmarked, 2-1/2 in. light wear to silver, otherwise good condition. Notes: Three lions passant on granite shield is the insignia of the ruling British royal house, bottle possibly a memento of an important visitor to Balmoral..
