French, probably late 19th century, baluster vase with cover, gilt bronze mounts and handles with floral clusters, bleu fonce ground, gilt borders with hand painted neoclassical scene of woman and cherubs signed "A Collot", the reverse with hand painted landscape, lid with crossed "L" and iron red "Chateau des Tuileries", socle base with gilt crossed "L" mark, 32 x 13 in. - Provenance: Private Collection lid rim ground with some small glaze chips and gilt retouch, glaze crazing, light scratches and minor decoration loss, loose on base
