English, early 20th century, one white on blue floral panel on each plate, signed "R.J. Marshall", gold print Mintons globe mark over "TATMAN/CHICAGO/MADE IN ENGLAND", made for Tatman, blind paste code for 1929, 10-5/8 in.,. Notes: Tatman, a retailer of china, crystal and silver, operated stores in Chicago and Evanston beginning in the mid 1920s. The firm was bought by Spaulding & Company in 1958..
