English or Continental, 19th century, painted with exotic birds and polychrome flowers in the style of James Giles (London, 1718-1780), each with small painted gold anchor on bottom, 10 in.,. Condition: one plate with old staple repair of large break in rim, gilding worn on all plates, each plate with evidence of ground-down tripod stilt mark in middle of bottom.
