British, 18th century, each with well carved back with pierced splats, over the rail upholstered seats, set on square legs, 37 x 22 x 19-1/2 in., seat height 18 in.

restorations and repairs throughout, rear legs ended out and front legs restored, some seat rails restored, three chairs with patches at rear stiles (possibly from arm attachments), scattered cracks and losses at splats and crest rails, stains and wear to upholstery
