Conoid Chairs, McRae Table
New Hope, Pennsylvania, each signed and dated March 1, 1988, two further inscribed "one piece tip seat", figured walnut crestrail over spindle back and shaped striated walnut plank seat, 35-1/2 in., [very good condition overall, scattered light surface wear and some water spots, stiles with very minor dents (from contact with table), one seat with area of infill to crotch walnut (as made), some uneven varnish and/or abrading to undersides of seat at area of signatures, one front toe with significant area of dog chew;] together with a hand-crafted figured hardwood dining table in the style of Nakashima by James McRae, probably sycamore, free-edge end, 100-1/2 x 62-1/4 in., [very good condition, scattered light surface wear and water spots especially to trestle-form base] .
