Continental, probably 19th century, comprising two armchairs and six side chairs, each with well-turned legs and stretchers, backs set with tooled leather panels set with heavy brass tacks, armchairs 37 in., side chairs 39-1/2 in., frames generally good condition with typical surface wear and flaws, seats reupholstered, frames not fully examined under upholstery (back leather panels possibly earlier in date), leather back panels with some cracking and areas of distress, scattered losses and distress to brass tacking.
