Notes: A note on the rarity of this map is that in 1696, the year that this map is dated, Schenk signed a notarized letter stating that his maps would only be used personally and not commercially. Cartouches possibly engraved by Romain de Hooghe [or Romeyn de Hooghe] (1645-1708). A possibly later edition of this map is held in the Library of Congress.
