possibly English, 18th/19th century, porcelain modeled as three upturned scallop shells resting on a bed of smaller shells and coral, with a conch and seaweed finial, the interiors of the shells are painted with stylized flowers and each shell has a stylized flower and leaf border near the scalloped rims, no marks, 3-1/2 x 5 in., several large and many small chips on rims of shells (some repaired), some smaller shells in the bed below the scallops are chipped, various anomalies as made.
