Ernst", oil on panel with colourman stamp for "Blanchet…Paris", 28-3/8 x 36-1/8 in.; gilt wood and composition frame, panel lacking two battens verso, bitumen draw crackle, small abrasions under right tiger's jaw, crackle, some possible yellowing of varnish, gouge in panel lower right edge possible prior to painting execution; frame with abrasions and minor losses.
