Presentation Bracket Clock
Continental, late 19th/early 20th century, bell-shaped crest with foliated loop handle and draped swags, rectangular galleried top platform over porcelain dial with Arabic counters, bracket base with applied floral presentation plate "Presented to Mr. Charles MacGowan on the occasion of his marriage. By his friends from McClure, McDonald & Company the 25th of August 1897", gilt brass ogee feet, signed on works "F. Marti" in script in center surrounded by "MEDAILLE DE BRONZE", with original key and pendulum, 17 in., some applied elements loose, lacking pins, discoloration to gilt on bronze especially on engraved presentation plate.
