Provenance: lower drawer interior with old label "This desk is the property of Eliza Greene Chace 20 days Aunt M. H. Chace (Phall?); Private Savannah, Georgia Collection refinished, patches and repairs at hinges with strip patch at bottom of fallboard, brasses replaced and with polish residue (appear to be period), other possible restorations to fallboard, original feet and most blocking with scattered patches and repairs, patches and repairs to drawer facings
