Presidential Portraits
American, late 19th century, silvered mirror plate surrounded by reverse-painted portraits of various presidents including Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Adams, VanBuren, Polk, Harrison, Jackson, Monroe, etc., each painted in a naive hand within pink grounds with stylized borders, mahogany-veneered circular frame, 29-1/4 in.. Condition: minor losses to mirror silvering and to paint on portraits; frame with extensive cracking to veneer surface.
