French, late 19th century, with elaborate brass, mother of pearl, bone and ivory inlays, gilt bronze mounts, the upper case with birds eye maple shelved interior, two small drawers over a frieze drawer with velvet lined writing board, 68 x 32-1/2 x 21 in. good condition overall, some minor distress and lifting to brass inlay on top of lower case and sides of upper case, other scattered surface flaws with typical cracks and minor distress
