Walnut Desk on Stand
English, late 17th century, diminutive form with hinged lid opening to fitted interior, felt-lined writing surface, bookmatched veneers with double herringbone inlay, the stand set with three dovetailed drawers with oak linings and probably original brasses, original period stand with turned legs and cross-stretcher, 38-1/2 x 23-3/4 x 18-1/2 in. closed (27-3/4 in. open).
