Bottle English, late 18th century, shaped as a spear point, unusual white ground with rich Wedgwood Blue panels, featuring reclining Greek god holding spear and with small book which crosses the border of the panel at his feet, floral garland above, reverse panel features seated cherub reading from scroll, garland above, silver-plated screw cap, both panels are slightly concave, facilitating holding securely, made at Etruria, 4 in. screw cap may not be original, condition otherwise very good.
