possibly Suffolk area, mid 18th century, highly figured walnut top with cusped corners, scalloped side skirts, dovetailed drawers with walnut, white pine and yellow pine secondary, cabriole legs and pad feet with notched back corners, 27 x 32 x 19-1/2 in.˜˜Note: A closely related dressing table, possibly from the same shop, is in the collections of Colonial Williamsburg, and came from a family with a history in Suffolk.
