probably Virginia, late 18th century, yellow pine throughout, hinged lid opening to divided interior, dovetailed case with single dovetailed drawer, set on tall original ogee bracket feet, finish with traces of paint including traces of blue-green to interior, 24-1/4 x 26-1/2 x 13-3/4 in.

Condition
original feet with replaced vertical blocking (two side foot facings with patches), some possible repairs to drawers secondary, nail scars at top center (from interior lock attachment), interior lacking three dividers, hinges replaced, top probably original (scars from previous hinges are consistent)
