Painted Pine Tea Table
Attributed to Eastern Shore, Virginia, 18th century, tea or tavern table with two-board circular top over triangular base, baluster posts with stretchers, underside of top with cross brace, yellow pine throughout (by micro-analysis), Spanish brown paint, 26-1/2 x 29-1/2 x 30 in.. Condition: possibly original paint surface, top layer is modern, some old losses to turned feet, wear and one small loss at top, other typical surface flaws.
