Inlaid Walnut Desk and Bookcase attributed to Columbia, South Carolina, circa 1800, with inlaid broken-arch pediment with urn finials, two line-inlaid doors with highly figured walnut panels, adjustable shelved interior, lower case with fitted interior, very highly figured walnut fallboard and graduated drawers, yellow pine secondary, original bracket feet, 91 x 42 x 21-1/2 in.. Condition: excellent condition overall, original feet and blocking, brasses replaced, finials likely replaced, minor repairs to scrolled pediment, some warping to fallboard and upper doors, minor surface fading, scattered abrasions and very minor repairs.
