Note: While Daniel Reichard is listed in Comstock as a potter born in Pennsylvania and active primarily in Hagerstown, Maryland between 1805 and 1815, no works definitively attributed to him have been identified to date. As Comstock notes, he is not associated with any known maker’s mark. This piece may represent the first known attribution to Daniel Reichard.
