attributed to the shop of John Head, 1720-1730, rectangular top with canted corners and molded edge above a conforming case fitted with four graduated long drawers, flanked by fluted canted corners, over a shaped skirt, on bun feet fitted with casters, appears to retain original brasses, 40-1/4 x 41 x 23-1/2 in.

Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Likely the base of a chest on chest, with old later top (at the time of the Christie's sale, the top was thought to be original)； warping and shrinkage separation (front board is currently somewhat loose), the case with old dry finish, other typical surface wear and flaws, one backboard replaced
