Chinese, pale blue celadon ground on begonia-form vases, ribbed bodies between bow-string borders, wide under-coated band at base and top, deeply inset unglazed base revealing a fine white porcelain and marked with Zhuanshu seal mark of the Qianlong emperor in underglaze blue, 11-1/4 in. good condition, glaze anamalies at edge of foot as made. Provenance: Estate of Michael Lawrence Vermeer, Atlanta, Georgia
