probably 19th century, body decorated with mountainous landscapes and with lengthy incised inscriptions, bases with impressed marks, 5-1/2 in. both in good condition with some surface wear and dirt with areas of color variation, interiors with discoloration and mineral deposits (were used as planters), no cracks or repairs found. Notes: A nearly identical brush pot sold Eldred's August 22, 2013, lot 1167, for $13,000 hammer price.

Condition
Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser’s risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests.
