brass and silvered dial inscribed "Isaac Brokaw" (Elizabethtown or Bridgetown, New Jersey, 1770-1785), eight day brass movement, moon phase, calendar dial, seconds sweep, set in a waisted case with broken arch pediment with carved rosettes and finials, dentil moldings, fluted quarter columns, paneled and scalloped base with ogee bracket feet, winder, pendulum, and two weights present, 93-1/2 x 22 x 10-3/4 in.

excellent condition overall, moon phase with one undecorated panel, possibly lacking an applied decoration, minor dents and surface distress to dial, lower turning of two finials restored, feet ended out 1-1/2 inches, typical minor cracks and repairs to applied base panel
