Decorated Fruitwood Secrétaire attributed to Johann Georg Hiltl (1771-1845), Munich, circa 1820, the fall front finely decorated with reverse print probably depicting a scene of Rosenheim in Bavaria near Munich, with leafy frieze and flanked by leafy columns, fallboard opens to a fitted interior with similar printed decorative devices and ten drawers with central amphitheater, ebonized writing board over two cabinet doors, 55-3/4 x 41-1/2 x 17-1/4 in.,. Condition: excellent restored condition overall, scattered minor typical warping and cracks including to writing board (some color variation), minor cracks to lower doors, other typical surface wear and flaws.
