Kirksey's Crossroads, Edgefield District, South Carolina, circa 1850, tannish green alkaline glaze with scattered bluish glaze runs down from shoulder, large tapered ovoid form, applied kaolin slip hanging drape form decoration around entire shoulder of jar, "CHANDLER MAKER" stamp between two of four 5-1/2 in. flared lug handles below semi round rim, likely 10 gallons, 20 in. tall, 48-1/4 in. circumference
