side by side configuration, 12 gauge, serial number RE83333, LOP 14in., sidelocks engraved "L.C. Smith" with leaf decoration, 32 in. barrels stamped "HUNTER ARMS CO., FULTON, N.Y.", and "L.C. SMITH, IDEAL GRADE", "LONDON STEEL" to underside of barrels, barrel flats with "NP" marks and "CHAMBERS 3 INCHES", "LONGRANGE" on barrel lug, "HUNTER ONE TRIGGER" under receiver, checkered pistol grip stock and forend, brass bead front sight, full chokes to both cylinders, four rubber spacers to butt stock, overall length approximately 48-3/4 in., weighs 8 lbs. 9 oz. - Provenance: Private North Carolina Collection
safety mechanism is broken, very soft hammer throw, heavy pitting to exterior of barrel with rust, rust spotting to interior of barrels, pitting and rust to trigger guard and receiver, heavy wear to wood stock and forend, letters inscribed to trigger guard and buttcap, wear, dings and abrasions throughout
Condition
Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
