early 19th century, in the form of a five drawer chest with hinged lid opening to interior slide and two dovetailed drawers, facade with four false drawers over single long drawer and turned feet, inlaid cherry with walnut banding, poplar and yellow pine secondary, bottom board with several inscriptions including "Louisville, Kentucky", 33-1/2 x 31 x 17 in.
